The PhD Course in Cellular and Molecular Biology (BCM) train students to contribute to the advancement of science by making and publishing scientific discoveries in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Cellular Biochemistry, Molecular Genetics, and Bioinformatics. The students are expected to focus on research and study. The training program will let our students acquire scientific expertise and technical skills, all key factors in a scientific career. By their training, BCM PhD students will be able to: • Analyze a scientific problem and define specific biological questions, to be addressed by means of various experimental approaches. This includes the formulation of hypotheses in order to design experiments, build up a time plan and define logical outcomes. They should also learn how to reach conclusions based on statistically-significant results • Be intellectually independent • Gain advanced communication skills • Drive responsible research and integrate in a Team community
